Three High School Golf Championships Decided; Two More Tuesday

High school golf championship tournaments were played at three different courses throughout Connecticut Monday, and some northern and central Connecticut teams from Patch towns fared quite well.

Simsbury won the Division I team title in a playoff with Xavier at Tallwood Country Club in Hebron. Berlin tied for second and Avon placed fourth in the Division II tournament at Timberlin Golf Club in Kensington, while in the Division III championship at Crestbrook Park in Watertown, East Catholic was second, Suffield third and Tolland fourth.
