Tour Bus Catches Fire in Wethersfield, I-91 Closed

WETHERSFIELD, CT — A portion of Interstate-91 northbound was closed on Saturday night after a Peter Pan tour bus caught fire, state police said.

The incident took place at about 10:20 p.m. between exits 25 and 26, state police said.

No injuries were reported.

State police said the highway closure would be "temporary." One lane was open just before 11 p.m., state police said.

Connecticut Transit was sending buses to transport passengers off the highway, state police said.
