The Wethersfield Town Manager has issued a Mask Mandate for all indoor venues open to the public in Wethersfield, effective Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. This includes, but is not limited to, businesses, restaurants, town buildings, and meeting spaces that are indoors. It applies regardless of vaccination status. This mandate complies with the Governor’s Executive Order No. 13A issued on August 5, 2021. This order shall remain in effect until further notice.

The goal of this mandate is to keep residents and visitors healthy, while striving to keep the economy moving forward. The town is asking businesses and residents to take these precautions in hopes of mitigating the spread and making every effort to protect our community.

Again, it is in the best interest of the community’s health, safety and the local economy to put a town-wide mask mandate into effect. The town’s Emergency Operations Center team meets weekly with the Central Connecticut Health District to review data and update policy.
