The Town of Wethersfield is opening their emergency shelter by reservation only for vulnerable residents with medical needs requiring access to electricity. Call the Social Services Department at (860) 721-2977 to make a reservation. Emergency Shelter at Pitkin Community Center, 30 Greenfield Street will open Thursday, August 6 at 2 p.m.
