Watermelon Prank Runs Amok at Wethersfield High School

WETHERSFIELD, CT — A senior prank involving a lot of fruit has some Wethersfield High School students in trouble.

NBC Connecticut reported that several students placed a bunch fruit — including watermelons — inside some toilets at the school.

Superintendent Michael Emmett said it was a senior prank and would not comment on student disciplinary matters.

The prank wound up causing some damage to the school, which was recently renovated, according to the NBC report.
