Wethersfield 2021 Election Voter Guide: Meet The Candidates

Here's what you need to know concerning the 2021 Wethersfield elections including the candidates, polling places, voting hours and more.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — On Tuesday, Nov. 2, Wethersfield residents will head to the polls to cast votes for the municipal election. Seats on the Town Council and Board of Education are up for grabs.

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 2. Voters who are in line before 8 p.m. will be able to vote even after the deadline passes. You can find your poll location at the Secretary of the State website by inputting your information.

You can request an absentee ballot here or you can visit your town clerk's office. All voters are eligible to check the top box that lists "COVID-19" as a reason for requesting an absentee ballot.

Town Council, vote for up to six candidates

Democratic candidates include Ryan C. Biggs, Ken Lesser, Cindy Jacobs, Kevin Hill, Matthew Forrest and Marjorie Callan Carson.

Republican candidates are Tyler Flanagan, Mary Pelletier, Michael Rell, Patrick Pentalow, Daniel O'Connor and Tom Mazzarella.

All Republican candidates also appear on the ballot on the Independent Party line.


Board of Education, full four-year term, vote for up to two candidates

Democrats: Janice DiRoberts and Matt Laccovole

Republicans: Charles Carey and Lew Michaels


Board of Education, full two-year term, vote for up to two candidates

Democrats: Jennifer Regan-Lefebvre and Shannan Roach

Republicans: John Cascio and Amanda Drew
