Wethersfield Burglars Arrested In Separate Cases

WETHERSFIELD, CT — A male burglar was taken into custody at the scene of an active Townhouse Lane burglary Tuesday morning, according to police.

The homeowner who was at work was alerted to the intruder thanks to his home surveillance system.

Numerous officers responded to the scene. The suspect is known to the homeowner. Police didn't immediately release the suspect's name.

In another case police apprehended a burglary suspect off of Spring Street with the help of the Hartford PD K-9 team. The burglar was caught Tuesday afternoon with the help of some residents in the area.
