Wethersfield Cops Nab One Car Burglar, Contend With Others
It was a wild time on one shift this week.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — A series of incidents for Tuesday in the Wethersfield Police Department log book read like a movie script and it left officers warning residents — again — to lock their cars and hide or take valuables out of vehicles.
Here is what transpired on Sept. 19, according to the log:
12:15 a.m. — Police spotted a suspicious car and the operator would not stop. Officers chased the vehicle until the operator bailed out on Midwell Road. Police searched for the driver with the help of a state police dog unit but were unsuccessful. The car was stolen out of Middletown.
