Wethersfield dad runs for kids in foster care

Jesse Sythe of Wethersfield runs for his kids. As a foster parent, his children are his number one inspiration and motivation.

Jesse acknowledges that there are many more kids that need support. He hopes to raise awareness for children in foster care by competing in the Eversource Hartford Half Marathon on October 12. As an employee of Eversource, this is a special race for him. Jesse considers himself fortunate to be a dad to these great kids and hopes to inspire others to get involved in the challenging but rewarding responsibility of fostering.

Jesse Sythe has been named to the Hartford Marathon Foundation’s 2019 Aiello Inspiration Team, a group of runners with incredible reasons for participating in the annual Eversource Hartford Marathon and Half Marathon this fall.
