Wethersfield Man Charged for Bad Check at Glastonbury Bank

A man was charged for issuing a bad check at a local bank, police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A 66-year-old Wethersfield man is facing two criminal charges for issuing a "bad check" at a Glastonbury bank, police said.

The case dates back to 2016, police said. Roy Lewis was charged Thursday with issuing a bad check and third-degree larceny.

Police did not name the bank in an arrest report, nor did they say for how much the check was written out. They did say Lewis "knowingly" issued the check.
