Wethersfield Man Dies After Suffering Head Injury: Police
Police found the 47-year-old Wethersfield man unresponsive in the driveway of an apartment complex off Silas Deane Highway.
WETHERSFIELD, CT — A man is dead after police found him unresponsive in the driveway of a Wethersfield apartment complex on Friday.
According to Wethersfield police, officers responded to 966 Silas Deane Highway shortly after 6:30 p.m. after receiving a call about an injured person on the road.
When officers arrived, they found 47-year-old Stephen Motyka of Wethersfield unresponsive in the driveway of a nearby apartment complex. Police said Motyka was unresponsive and had suffered trauma to his head.

First responders provided aid, but Motyka was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. According to authorities, Motyka's death did not appear suspicious and there is no ongoing threat to the community.
