Wethersfield Man Killed In I-91 Crash: State Police
State Police said the accident occurred around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

CROMWELL, CT — A Wethersfield man was killed in an early morning motor vehicle accident on Interstate 91 in Cromwell, State Police said. A vehicle driven by Michael Rogers, 50, of Berlin Turnpike, was traveling northbound on I-91 around 1:30 a.m. when it veered off the roadway to the right, State Police said.
The vehicle drove through the soft shoulder, across the Exit 21 entrance ramp and hit the trees off the right shoulder, State Police said.
Rogers was pronounced dead on the scene, State Police said. Anyone who has any information is asked to call Troop H at 860-534-1000.
