Wethersfield Obituary: Anita Tchaikow, 86

Anita Tchaikow, 86, passed peacefully at Hughes Health and Rehabilitation, West Hartford on September 23, 2017.

Born and raised in Hartford, she lived her adult years in Wethersfield. She was an executive secretary for the City of Hartford and the Quinlivan Insurance Group. An avid reader, she was active in the Friends of the Wethersfield Library.

Her family expresses their appreciation to the entire staff at Hughes for the wonderful care and attention given to Anita. Anita was a beloved sister and aunt.

She is survived by her nephews, Glen Crane of Farmington and Jeffery Hasbrouk of England, in addition to many grandnieces and grandnephews. Anita was predeceased by sisters Alice, Doris and Cecile, brother Stephan and her special nephew Gary Crane.

Her graveside funeral service will be on Monday, October 9, 1:30 PM at Village Cemetery, 1 Marsh St, Wethersfield.
