Wethersfield Obituary: Chrysanthi Petropoulos, 80

Chrysanthi Petropoulos, 80, of Wethersfield, passed peacefully in her home on November 2, 2017.

She is survived by her children George and his wife Mary-Ellen of Rocky Hill, and Anthi Monde and her husband Kenneth of Fort Myers, Florida, her brothers Nikko and Nisso, both in Greece, and her beloved grandchildren Gregory and Erica, both of Rocky Hill.

Chrysanthi enjoyed cooking and baking her favorite Greek dishes and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her deep religious faith and her kind heart.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 5, from 6-8 PM at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, with a Trisayion Service at 6:15 PM. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, on Monday, November 6, in St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 433 Fairfield Ave., Hartford. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.

In life, Chrysanthi was loved dearly. May she now sleep peacefully in the arms of her loving God.
