Wethersfield Obituary: Gloria Gigliuto, 87

Gloria (Ferrante) Gigliuto, 87, beloved widow of Vincent Gigliuto, passed away on May 10, 2017.

Gloria had lived in Wethersfield since 1955 before moving to Rocky Hill. She sang professionally before her marriage as Gloria Dawn, Venus in the Northeast. Prior to her retirement she was in food service for many years and was a longtime communicant of Corpus Christi Church. Gloria also was a cancer survivor.

She leaves behind her two nieces, Gloria St. Germain of Vernon and Lois Ouellette and her husband Joe of Windsor, her nephew Roland St. Germain of Vernon and several great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Mary and Connie and her brother James.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 10 AM in Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Hwy., Wethersfield. Burial will follow in the State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown. There will be no visiting hours.
