Wethersfield Obituary: Grace DeLuca, 92

Grace (Mainuli) DeLuca, 92, of Wethersfield, beloved wife for 47 years of the late Raymond J. DeLuca, Sr., passed away peacefully on July 19, 2017 with her family by her side.

Grace was born in Hartford on May 8, 1925 and was the daughter of the late Frank and Vittoria (Chipputi) Mainuli. Grace retired from The Travelers Insurance Corporation after many years of dedicated service. Grace was a member of the Church of the Incarnation Woman's Club and the VFW #9929 of West Hartford.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Grace will be missed by her son, Raymond J. DeLuca, Jr. and his spouse Josef of Greenfield, MA, her daughters, Elizabeth Ann DeLuca of Wethersfield, Victoria Sherman and her husband Stephen, Sr. of Rocky Hill and Marigrace Inzero and her husband Raymond Sr. of Rocky Hill. She also leaves her seven beloved grandchildren, Stephen Sherman, Jr. and his wife Misha of Hoboken, NJ, Staci Porch and her husband Alex of Middletown, Scott Sherman and his wife Alexandra of Franklin, MA, Ashley Young and her husband Andrew of Middletown, Raymond Inzero, Jr., and his fiancée Julie Francolino of Rocky Hill, Joseph Inzero of Middletown and Thomas Inzero and his fiancée Nicole Scibelli of South Windsor. She also leaves her five great-grandchildren Tessa Porch and Cooper Porch of Middletown, Eva Sherman and Kayla Sherman of Hoboken, NJ, and Parker Sherman of Franklin, MA along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Grace was predeceased by her three brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will begin on Monday at 9 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Elm Street, Rocky Hill. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 3-6 at the funeral chapel.
