Wethersfield Obituary: Jean Raffanella, 85

Jean (Tomaiuolo) Raffanella, 85, of Wethersfield, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2016.

Jean was born in Hartford on October 16, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Carmine and Raffaela (Traino) Tomaiuolo. Jean lived in Hartford most of her life before moving to Wethersfield. She worked for the City of Hartford for over thirty years as a Senior Administrative Assistant for the Assesors Office.

Jean is survived by her brother Frank Tomauiolo and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by her husbands; Edward Schiemann and Louis Raffanella, her brothers; Dominic Tomaiuolo and Theodore Tomaiulo, her sisters: Lucy Kelly, Concetta Kotch and Viola Halamicek.

Funeral services will be private.
