Lidia (Iacobucci) DiCioccio, 69, of Wethersfield, beloved wife of Quintino DiCioccio for 50 years, passed away peacefully August 9, 2016, at home with her loving family and friends by her side.
Lidia was born on January 30, 1947 in Pratola Peligna, province of L’Aquila, Italy and was the daughter of the late Giovannino and Lucia (Presutti) Iacobucci. Lidia retired from Hartford Hospital in 2009 and during her years of service she was known as the “sunshine” of the mailroom by all who knew her.
Lidia could always be found in her kitchen baking her delicious cookies, pizzellas being her specialty, or she was busy cooking a delicious meal for her family and friends. If you walked into her house, there was always room for one more at the table. Although Lidia’s true devotion was to her family, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
