We will miss her kind and gentle spirit, her loving smile and her long talks and hugs when we needed them. She taught us good manners, respect for others, patience and nurtured our belief in God. She was the best Italian cook and baker. Everything was homemade including pizelles, Easter bread, eggplant parmesan, pizza and her “famous” meatballs. There was always room for one more at her table. She was the greatest wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother we could ever ask for.

“All that I am, or hope to be,
I owe to my angel mother.”
(Abraham Lincoln, 1809-1865).
