
Louise Gigon passed away on January 16, 2018. A devoted wife and mother, she was born in New Haven to the late Justice Kenneth Wynne and Mrs. Mary Fielding Wynne. The youngest of six children, Louise grew up in Woodbridge, attending Lauralton Hall, Center School and St. Margaret’s; and graduating from the Gateway School and the University of Connecticut.
She taught at the Tuxedo Park School, NY and Maple Elementary, Tulare, CA before pursuing a career as a social worker in Vero Beach, FL; and Westfield, NJ, where she met her beloved husband. Together they raised two children in Ontario, Canada; Ridgewood, NJ; Nantucket, MA and Wethersfield.
Louise was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America in the State of Connecticut; and a former member of the town Conservation Committee and Trinity Church. She was an avid reader and classical music enthusiast.

Louise was predeceased by her siblings Barbara Secor, John Wynne, Sr., Betsey Wynne, Kenneth Wynne, Jr., and Mary Bohonnon. She is survived by her husband George, daughter Gwynne, son Gerard, and numerous nieces and nephews, who miss her dearly.
