Wethersfield Obituary: Nancy Chasse, 81

Nancy B. (Massey) Chasse, 81, of Vernon, VT, formerly of Wethersfield, beloved wife of the late Normand J. Chasse, died Sunday August 28, 2016 in Vernon, VT.

She was born in Madawaska, ME, a daughter of the late Aline (Levesque) and Willie Massey. "Fancy" Nancy was a member of St. Michael's Church, in Brattleboro, VT. She was employed by Caldor's for many years and later did private housecleaning.

Nancy is survived by her daughters Grace Head and her husband Carl, of Vernon, VT and Lisa Collado, of Nashua, NH, her grandson Andrew Chasse-Felix and his wife Kimberly, and her step-grandson Nathan Head, her brothers Carroll Cyr and his wife Priscilla, of VanBuren, ME and Herman Cyr and his wife Rachel, of Grand Isle, ME and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Fisette-Batzner Funeral Home at Newington Memorial, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington followed by her funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
