Wethersfield Obituary: Patricia Borchetta, 80

Patricia “Pat” A. (Quotidian) Borchetta, 80, of Wethersfield, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Avery Heights.

Born on January 11, 1937 in Greenwich, she was the daughter of the late John and Lillian (Adams) Quotidian. She was predeceased by her husband Eugene Borchetta. Pat graduated from Greenwich High School. She and Geno owned & operated Bogdan’s Deli in the Charter Oak section of Hartford for many years before retiring.

Pat enjoyed going to the beach, playing cards and bingo and going to the casinos. But more than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be forever missed by her family.

She is survived by her six children, Phyllis Paul of Brewster, NY, Donna & husband George Mansfield of Port Chester, NY, Maureen Yade of Brewster, NY, Susan Palmisano of Greeley, PA, Kevin Yade of Meriden, Barbara & husband Michael Violette of South Windsor. She leaves behind 17 grandchildren: Carrie Anne, Anthony, Allison, Sean, Michael, Timothy, Rhonda, Claire, Samantha, Jeffrey, Tayler, Nicholas, Griffin, Ethan, Cheyenne, Rachel and Nadina as well at 7 adored great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sister, Judith Falloon as well as her niece and nephews. She was sadly predeceased by two of her children, Martin Yade and Debra Bishop as well as her granddaughter, Ericka Mansfield. She was also predeceased by her sister Barbara Quotidian, her stepfather Nicholas Roberto, brother-in-law, James Falloon and son-in-law, Anthony Palmisano.

The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at Oncology Associates as well as the staff at Avery Heights for taking such wonderful care of Pat during her illness.

Funeral services will be private.
