Wethersfield Obituary: Peter Piergrossi, 97

Peter Piergrossi, 97 of Wethersfield, husband of the late Elizabeth (Cantone) Piergrossi, died Thursday, May 19, 2016.

Born in Birdshoro, PA, son of Santo and Theresa Piergrossi. Peter worked for G. Fox & Co. for 25 years and later Travelers Insurance Co. He was a member of the Newington Knights of Columbus, Wethersfield Seniors Citizens and the South End Senior Citizens.

He is survived by 2 brothers, John and Joseph Piergrossi, a sister Phyllis DeMartino and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers Nicholas and Arthur and two sisters Irene and Vienna.

The funeral will be Tuesday, May 24, 11am at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield. Entombment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, 10-11 AM, prior to the funeral.
