May 28, 2020 - Camps Cancellation Notice - New Registration Date

Our computer registration system is down and repairs are currently underway, so summer registration has been pushed to June 10th for virtual fitness classes and other offerings.

It is with much regret that the Wethersfield Parks and Recreation Department is announcing that there will be no camp programs this summer. This decision was made after a comprehensive review of the written guidelines from the Center for Disease Control and State Office of Early Childhood and in consultation with the Central Connecticut Health District and town administration. These programs include Nature Camp, Dance and Drama programs, Cheer Camp, Camp Stuff-To-Do, Camp Wanna-Do, Playground Program, X-Treme Adventures, Therapeutic Recreation Camps and Sports Camps.

Staff are currently working on providing alternative programming options for children and adults.

We will keep you updated on our Facebook page and website as more information becomes available.
