Wethersfield PD Helps Capture FBI Fugitive

A man wanted for allegedly stealing money from an armored truck was captured by the FBI with help from Wethersfield Police.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — The Wethersfield Police Department helped capture a man who allegedly stole money from an armored truck, according to the FBI.

Mark Espinosa, 29, was working as an armored truck driver in Louisville, Kentucky Dec. 5 when he and the money went missing. FBI agents got information that he was directly involved in the theft, according to the FBI.

A federal arrest warrant was issued for Espinosa on Dec. 10 that charges him with theft from an interstate shipment. He had ties to Louisville and New Britain.
