Wethersfield Police Dog Assists on Medical Call

Police dog Marley helped find someone in the woods who needed help.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Wethersfield police dog Marley is being credited with assisting a person with emotional issues over the weekend.

Police said the person wound up in a heavily wooded ares of town on Saturday night and Marley was called in to assist. He helped located the person, who was then able to get some necessary medical attention, police said.

A post about Marley's efforts on the Wethersfield Police Department Facebook page had 681 likes, 17 shares and 40 comments on Thursday night.
