Wethersfield Police Looking for Ax-Carrying Man

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Wethersfield police are trying to identify a man who was wandering with what appeared to be an ax near the Pine Acres Swim and Tennis Club.

Wethersfield police released an image of the man on Friday morning. The incident was on Wednesday near the front gate of Pine Acres, 196 Western Boulevard.

The man pictured seems to be carrying an ax over his shoulder. He was last seen walking southbound toward wintergreen woods, according to police.
