Wethersfield Public Safety Officials Teaming Up for Food Drive
All items collected will be donated to the Social Services Food Bank.
WETHERSFIELD, CT — The Wethersfield Police Department, Volunteer Fire Department and Volunteer Ambulance are teaming up for their second-annual food drive on Sunday, November 13th at Stop and Shop, 1380 Berlin Turnpike.
The drive is scheduled for 10 a.m.to 4 p.m. All items collected will be donated to the Social Services Food Bank to help support Wethersfield families in need, police said.
Basic items needed include:
- Canned Food
- Pasta
- Stuffing Mix
- Turkeys
- Condiments
- Soap
- Tooth brushes and toothpaste
