WETHERSFIELD, CT — A Wethersfield resident is $21,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in New Britain earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
On October 14, Ligia Pena Mercado, of Wethersfield, purchased a Blackjack Tripler ticket from Joe's Package Store in New Britain and won $21,000.
