Students will be heading back to classes this month.
WETHERSFIELD, CT — Here are some key dates on the Wethersfield 2016-17 school system calendar:
- Aug. 25 — CIAC first official day of sports practices
- Aug. 31 — First day of school
- Nov. 24-25 — Thanksgiving recess
- Dec. 26 - Jan. 2 — winter recess
- Feb 17, 20, 21 — Professional development/Presidents Day/winter recess
- April 10 - 14 — spring recess
- June 12 — tentative last day of school
