Wethersfield's CT Funeral Directors Assn Collects Toys/Gift Cards

Collecting Now thru Wednesday, December 1st for Operation ELF and Connecticut Children's Medical Center

Members of the Wethersfield-based Connecticut Funeral Directors Assn. (CFDA) are hosting a statewide holiday collection drive for the 15th time! Now through Wednesday, Dec. 1st, close to 50 Connecticut funeral homes are welcoming donations of gift cards and toys of any value for Operation ELF, which assists military families who have a loved one in the deployment cycle this holiday season AND for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center’s young patients.

Wethersfield resident John Cascio, CFDA’s Executive Director, says that gift cards and toys may be dropped off during regular business hours at the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association's office at 364 Silas Deane Highway in Wethersfield OR at any of the following funeral homes (see below) through Dec. 1st and also on Thurs., Dec. 2nd from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at CFDA’s 133rd Convention at the Sheraton Hartford South Hotel at 100 Capitol Ave. in Rocky Hill.
