2-Car Accident in Wilton Sends NY Woman to Hospital
The two-car accident occurred on Danbury Road in Wilton and sent a New York woman to the hospital.
A Wilton woman was arrested on Jan.4 for failure to grant the right of way from a private driveway after crashing her SUV into a New York woman’s car, according to a police report.
Police stated that Katrina Rusin, 47, of Wilton, pulled out of a driveway on Danbury Road, near Deerfield Road at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 4 and crashed her Chevy SUV into a Acura sedan operated by Yasnia Ortega-Perez, 27, of Yonkers, New York.
Ortega-Perez complained of tightness in her neck and was transported to Norwalk Hospital by Wilton EMS. Her car was towed to Wilton Auto Body due to “disabling damage,” police stated. Rusin was not injured and drove her vehicle off scene.
