This year, we saw a lot happen in Wilton, whether it was politics, business, crime or animals.
A new first selectman was elected, local pet food company Blue Buffalo started trading on the NASDAQ as ”BUFF”, residents spotted more than one bobcat strolling about town and a family is suing the Wilton Board of Education alleging that a former paraprofessional found guilty of possessing child pornography sexually assaulted a 4-year-old.
Let’s not forget David Canary. A well renowned soap opera star who called Wilton home died in November of natural causes. Canary was born in Indiana and chose the path of acting after turning down an offer to play professional football for the Denver Broncos.
