Eversource Update: 207+ Wilton Power Outages, Downed Wires in Wilton
The outages, a fire and downed wires were reported on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
WILTON, CT- Update 5:15 p.m.: Mitch Gross, spokesman with Eversource told Patch:
"An Eversource crew is currently working on the outage. It is a tree on an electric line. 207 customers affected - from Gilbert Corners north up Belden Hill Road and up Drum Hill Road. We will have power back to those customers as quickly as we can."
Original post: 3:40 p.m.:
The Wilton Bulletin is reporting a vehicle fire on Clover Drive and a downed tree on Belden Hill Road.
Patch contacted the Wilton Police Department who said, "We have multiple downed tress and wires right now and some are on fire," Officer Godfrey confirmed.

Mitch Gross, spokesman with Eversource, told Patch that the incidents were reported at 3:30 p.m. and did not have further information on the cause. Gross said 207 customers are currently affected.
