Police determined the occupants had fled the scene and that the vehicle, a white 2018 Ford Explorer, had been reported stolen out of Stormville, New York.

With assistance from a Connecticut State Police K9, officers searched for the occupants, but the suspects were not immediately located.

At about 6:27 a.m., a security guard reported two young males walking near Silver Hill Hospital. A Wilton officer later saw two young males in the woods, and police then determined both were occupants of the crashed vehicle.

Police identified the two as Joshua Olmos, 18, of Danbury, and Jaiden Rodriguez, 19, of Naugatuck.

Both were arrested on charges of larceny of a motor vehicle, conspiracy to commit larceny of a motor vehicle and interfering with an officer/resisting, according to the arrest report.

Rodriguez is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on April 27, while Olmos is due in court April 24, according to police.
