WILTON, CT — One person suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash Saturday evening that left a driver trapped inside a vehicle, according to the Wilton Police Department.
Police said officers, along with the Wilton Fire Department and Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps, responded around 6:30 p.m. to the area of Chestnut Hill Road and Cedar Road for a motor vehicle crash involving injuries.
Due to the severity of the crash, one of the drivers became trapped inside their vehicle and was extricated by Wilton firefighters, police said.
Two patients were transported to Norwalk Hospital by Wilton EMS and Norwalk EMS. One patient sustained serious injuries, while the second suffered minor injuries, according to police.
