WILTON, CT — Wilton will hold a memorial ceremony next month marking the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
The ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at Wilton Fire Headquarters, 236 Danbury Road.
The event will honor those who lost their lives in the attacks as well as the courage and sacrifice of first responders and others who continue to serve the community, according to the Wilton Fire Department.
This year marks 25 years since the attacks on the World Trade Center, Pentagon and United Airlines Flight 93 on Sept. 11, 2001.
The ceremony is open to the public, and all community members are welcome to attend.
