Drunk Driver Had Cocaine in Car: Wilton PD
The man was reportedly observed driving erratically.
An erratic driver on traveling north of Route 7 in the area of Danbury Road and New Street is facing a DUI charge.
Norwalk Police called in the erratic driver on Dec. 20 around 3:30 p.m. after the car was observed swerving over the shoulder and double yellow lines.
The driver, Carlos Ayala, 51, of Danbury failed standardized field sobriety tests and placed into custody for DUI. Police said they also found 0.9 grams of cocaine in the car.

Ayala was given a $5,000 bond and a court date of Dec. 21.
