The town is participating in a statewide exercise.

The Town of Wilton is participating Wednesday in a statewide emergency planning exercise.

First Selectman Bill Brennan wanted residents to know that it is only an exercise and not a real emergency.

If an actual emergency were to occur there would be Code Red message alerts and other information would be posted on the town’s website and social media accounts.
