Former Wilton Man Sent to Prison for Defrauding Vets
He sold investors a scheme to open a pizzeria in a consulate in Iraq.

A former Wilton resident was sentenced to more than two years in prison in an investment scam.
According to Fox 61, Joseph Morris, who is now living in Fort Lauderdale, FL, defrauded investors out of $200,000 with a couple of scams including one in which he got veterans to put money into a pizzeria in a U.S. consulate in Iraq.
Morris, 52, also told investors he was going to start a business installing systems to protect windows from explosions.
