Former Wilton Resident Killed in Murder-Suicide

A former Wilton resident living in Killingworth was the victim of a homicide Nov. 25

Lauren Beebe, 48, was found dead of gunshot wounds, as was her husband, Billy Newman, 57, according to an article in the Wilton Bulletin.

Police have ruled their deaths as a murder-suicide.

Beebe, a 1985 graduate of Wilton High School, had filed for divorce from her husband.

She worked at the Killingworth Animal Hospital as a veterinarian.
