Join Relay For Life of Wilton and Help Fight Cancer

Each year Wilton residents gather to join the American Cancer Society in the fight against cancer by participating in Relay For Life.

The American Cancer Society is seeking volunteers in Wilton to be a part of the annual Relay For Life event. Community volunteers lead and organize each local event with the support of Society staff. From assisting with planning the annual event to taking part the day-of, there are various volunteer opportunities for interested community members.

The next meeting will be held for interested community members on Tuesday, December 1st at 6:00pm at Trackside, 15 Station Road.

The Relay For Life program is a community-based event where teams and individuals camp out at a school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team has at least one participant on the track at all times and participates in raising funds to support the American Cancer Society’s mission to finish the fight against cancer. Four million people participated in more than 6,000 events worldwide last year.
