Latest Wilton Coronavirus Updates: 51 Active Cases

Here are the latest, local updates on how the coronavirus outbreak is impacting Wilton.

WILTON, CT — The state Department of Public Health has confirmed there are 51 active cases of the new coronavirus in Wilton as of Thursday.

Statewide, 27 people died during the past 24 hours which brings the total number of coronavirus related deaths in Connecticut to 112, Gov. Ned Lamont said Thursday.

Among 216 nursing homes in CT, 42 (19 percent) have had at least one confirmed case of COVID-19. A total of 150 nursing home residents with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 have been identified of whom 64 (43 percent) were hospitalized and 15 (10 percent) have died.
