Man Accused of Passing Bad Checks at Wilton Grocery Store

Police say the man passed bad checks on several occasions.

A Southport man is facing charges after police say he passed several bad checks at the Village Market in Wilton.

According to police, Jason Turoczi, 33, passed bad checks at the market on multiple occasions.

Turoczi was charged with three counts of third-degree forgery, three counts of identity theft, five counts of sixth-degree larceny and five counts of issuing a bad check on July 12.

He was given a $5,000 bond and a court date of July 22.
