Man Accused of Violating Protective Order in Wilton
The Stratford man was taken into custody.

A Stratford man is facing charges after police say he violated a protective order.
Police received a complaint about a verbal altercation between a complainant and her boyfriend on July 23. The complainant told police she was at a neighbor’s house and there is an active protective order in place forbidding the boyfriend from being on the property, police said.
According to police, upon investigation, they found that John Jacques, 22 was not allowed to be at the Wilton residence. He was taken into custody and held on a $5,000 bond till his court date of July 24.
