Man Allegedly Gave Police Fake Name During Wilton Traffic Stop
The man is facing charges of criminal impersonation.

A Bridgeport man is facing charges after he was stopped for operating a vehicle with registration that was suspended on Thursday.
According to police, Cristia Gonzalez-Sanchez, 29 provided a friend’s name instead of his own when he was stopped on Gaylord Drive around 9:15 a.m.
Police said Gonzalez-Sanchez had no insurance and his license was also suspended.

He was charged with criminal impersonation, interfering, suspended registration, suspended license, no insurance and failure to report suspended plates.
Gonzalez-Sanchez was given a $2,000 bond and a court date of Aug. 3.
