Man Charged With DUI Allegedly Fled Accident Scene in Wilton
The driver of the vehicle was later located asleep inside his car.
A Danbury man involved in a two car accident on March 12 at the intersection of Danbury Road and Ridgefield Road fled the scene, Wilton Police say.
According to police, a vehicle matching the description that fled the scene with heavy front end damage was reported at 131 Danbury Road and was located shortly after the accident.
The operator Daniel Pyne, 33 was found sleeping inside, police say.

Police arrested Pyne after he failed sobriety tests.
Pyne was charged with driving under the influence, following too close, failure to return license, evading responsibility and operating under suspension.

No one was injured during the accident.
He was given a court date of March 24.
