Police: Wilton Road Construction Scheduled
Milling and paving on Horseshoe and River roads will start Monday.

Road construction in the Town of Wilton has been scheduled to begin next week.
An advisory from the Wilton Police Department said that the Department of Public Works will start milling and paving Horseshoe Road and River Road Monday, Oct. 12. The work is expected to take four days and will happen between 7:20 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The section to be milled and paved is from 5 River Rd., which is the Wilton Hardware south driveway, to the intersection of Wolfpit Road.

Police and flaggers will assist with traffic.
The state DOT will be paving Route 106 on Oct. 14, 15, 18 and 19 between the hours of 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. Work will begin on Hurlbutt Street and continue through Sharp Hill and then onto Wolfpit Road.
