Trackside to Host Popular Study Skills Programs for Wilton Students

Trackside Teen Center is proud to host two workshops of its evidence- based Successful Study Skills 4 Students (S4) program for 8th grade and high school students: Basic Study Skills 100, and Advanced Study Skills 200. The workshops foster academic achievement by teaching students key study strategies that help them learn and achieve better academic success.

The February 2015 High School workshop was full!

The Study Skills 100 workshop will be held on Sundays, March 8th and 15th. The Advanced Study Skills 200 workshop will be held on Sundays, February 22 and March 1. Both workshops will be hosted from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Trackside Teen Center 15 Station Rd, Wilton, CT 06897.

The S4 programs are designed to bolster academic confidence, motivation and preparation as academic workload and expectations increase rise. Skills taught include: planning, organizing, executive functioning strategies, as well as quiz, test, and long-term project preparation strategies.

The dates and times for the S4 workshops at Trackside are as follows:
Basic Study Skills 100: Sunday, March 8th and 15th, 2015, from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Advanced Study Skills 200: Sunday, February 22 and March 1, 2015, from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

The workshops include all in-class materials, original S4 Teach Sheets for each skill taught, and post- parent emails after each session. Class size limited to 15. Each two-session six-hour workshop is $295.
