Upcoming Lane Closures on Route 7 in Wilton

A nighttime milling and resurfacing project is leading to the closures.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 7 in the towns of Wilton, Redding and Ridgefield.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing from 8-5:30 a.m until Wednesday, June 10.

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 7 between Route 57 to .35 miles north of Route 35. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to the regular work schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
